儘管已經多次表態，「不會參加扣籃大賽」，但詹姆斯(LeBron James)的名字，仍然是許多球迷心目中最理想的頭號參賽人選，現在就有球迷突發奇想，要以「募款」方式集資百萬美金，藉以捐贈給詹姆斯旗下的基金會，「引誘」小皇帝點頭同意出馬今年的扣籃大賽。
