投資機構Robert W. Baird分析師賽巴斯丁（Colin Sebastian）表示：「電子商務是網路公司的最佳賺錢管道。」他認為臉書日後可在用戶完成每筆線上消費時向零售商收取手續費，也能以銷售線上廣告的模式，要求零售商付費讓商品資訊顯示在用戶分享的購物清單中。
